Where We'll GatherYou’ll wake up surrounded by birdsong and tall tropical trees, ancient ferns, and towering bamboo in a beautiful cloud forest jungle on the slopes of Hualalai Mountain, one of the three active volcanoes on the Big Island of Hawai'i.
You'll bathe in the beautiful forest air as clouds float through the canopy of these massive trees, dripping with healing energy.

Connect

Arrive physically and energetically as you settle into the new environment. This is a great chance to take in your surroundings and start to get to know some of the other guests who will walk this journey beside you. Listen to the forest and let yourself start to soften.

We’ll being with a grounding, balancing meditation inspired by the tropical cloud forest. We’ll connect as a community, gathering in circle for the first time together. We’ll set intentions for our time together in sacred ceremony. Begin to release the old and reconnect with what truly matters to you - as you move forward with aligned balance.

Start with nourishment as you enjoy fresh local healthy food and good conversation at our massive monkeypod table for 10.

This healing semi-guided meditation will help set the tone for the whole weekend experience. It will soothe and restore but also shake out some of your old energy that no longer serves. You’ll become more aware of your energy and your healing.
We’ll explore within and unearth old patterns and behaviors you no longer wish to carry through a flowing succession of journal prompts. In this circle, you may choose to express and be witnessed as you shift or choose to keep your experience private. Either way, you will feel a profound shift.
Saturday: Release & Cleanse

Start the day surrounded by stunning rare trees, ferns, palms, bamboo, flowers, and the bird songs of native Hawaiian honeycreepers. Discover the unique climate, geology, and history of this lush ecosystem while learning about its delicate balance and human impact. Breathe fresh mountain air, calm your mind, relax your body, and connect deeply with nature on this unforgettable journey through a mile of sacred trails.

Let the harmonious tones of crystal singing bowls, other vibrational instruments, and the natural soundscape of the ʻōhiʻa lehua forest resonate through you.

Back to the cabin for a beautiful fresh lunch spread with the group.

Take a little time by yourself or with a new friend to let things settle and integrate. There will be some corners around the house set up for small activities, like pulling oracle cards, making tea, decorating your journal, reading, or gazing at the forest. This time is for you so choose whatever feels good!
During this time, you can also add your complimentary 1-on-1 energy reading - Katia will share what blocks are coming up most prominently in your energy system and how you can work with them. This experience is often life-changing.

In this session, we’ll release what no longer serves through a special water ceremony where you’ll dissolve what you no longer choose to embody. We’ll take time to reflect with guided journaling and discussion.

Slow down, clear your mind, calm your body, and reconnect with nature through Shinrin Yoku, the ancient Japanese wellness practice of Forest Bathing-immersing oneself in nature. Guided through gentle sensory invitations and contemplation questions inspired by nature therapy practices, you’ll reconnect with nature through sight, sound, scent, taste, touch, and breath—awakening a deep sense of presence and peace.

We’ll flow together in the beautiful open-air yoga shala. Surrounded by vibrant sounds and lush foliage, discover a space to connect mind, body, and spirit.
We’ll explore fluid movements and shapes that help balance so much more than our bodies, raising your energy and vibration.
As you flow through asanas (movements), let tension melt away, syncing your breath with the forest’s rhythm and the rhythm of your heart.
Experience a profound sense of presence, harmony and peace as you connect with yourself and the natural world.

Preparing for the Forest: Because we are perched in the high-elevation cloud forest, the weather is beautifully misty and cooler than the coast. Packing in layers will ensure you stay comfortable as we move between movement, meditation, and rest.
For Your Body:
Cozy Layers: Think soft sweaters, cardigans, or a light fleece. The forest air is crisp, especially in the mornings and evenings.
Comfortable Movement Wear: Clothes you can move freely in for our morning practices and stretching.
Warm Socks & Slippers: Essential for staying cozy inside the sanctuary.
A Light Rain Shell: For forest walks when the mist turns to a gentle drizzle.
Sturdy Walking Shoes: For grounding walks on the forest floor.
Refillable Water Bottle: To stay hydrated throughout your cleanse.
For Your Soul:
Sacred Objects: Feel free to bring a favorite crystal, mala beads, or a small item that represents your intention for this cleanse.
An Open Heart: Perhaps the most important thing to pack. Come as you are, ready to clear what no longer serves you.
We’ve Got You Covered: We provide all yoga mats, meditation cushions, and props, as well as all the hand-blended teas and Ayurvedic meals you’ll need for your three-day reset.

Because we are high on the slopes of Hualālai, it is significantly cooler than the beach. Temperatures usually hover between 60°F and 75°F. When the mist rolls in, it feels like a cozy, temperate forest.
Weather: Temperatures are usually a comfortable 60 – 75 degrees ºF. Mornings are usually sunny blue skies, with cloud mist transitioning into light showers mid-day, and clear skies again by sunset.

Absolutely! Most of our retreat-goers come on their own but leave with friends for life!

The retreat is capped at 10 people. We want to be sure this is a meaningful intimate experience.
